woof 2 - Cerberus Motion Detecter Tester |
Woof 2 is a simple application that comes with all version of Cerberus of 1.7beta and above. Woof 2 was originally written as a simple test bed that I used while writing the motion detection code, however after I'd finished testing I realised that it might be useful for some people. I tidied it up a bit and here it is...free for you! I think you find it most useful in finding the optimum sensitivity settings to use in Cerberus. |
If you select Save, then woof2 will save the current sensitivity settings for use with Cerberus. |

Basically Woof 2 does only one thing, it captures an image whenever it detects motion. All images are saved as bitmaps and are saved to the <cerberus install>\woof2 directory. |
It doesn't do anything that Cerberus can't do, so I suggest you boot it up, play about with the settings and then use those as the motion detection settings in Cerberus. The top sensitivity setting corresponds to SA and the bottom sensitivity setting corresponds to SB. |
Woof2 uses a default 'viewing frame' in the centre of the window, covering about 70% of the view. |
If you like Woof2, and would like me to develop it further then send me your ideas and feedback to the address below. |
